Making the decision

The time has come for you and I both to make that decision. Are you unsatisfied with how you  feel? I was! I have made that decision to change my eating and fitness habits. I was very upset with myself that I had left myself go over the past 8 years. Working out off and on, joining a gym, doing a workout program and then just making excuses why I just didn't stick with it. A new relationship, grandchilden, a new job. Now is the time to flip the switch into a new gear and get back on track.

By doing that you have to find the right workout program for you. There are many out there to obtain and so many gyms to join. I have decided to join a new gym a few months ago and still did not get my butt in gear to attend my training sessions with a personal trainer or even just get back into the routine that I have done for many years. A few years ago I purchased a Beachbody workout (Turbo Jam), and was given a personal coach. I was shown the way to log in my workouts into what was called Wowy Supergym. It was very helpful and kept me in account of my workouts and also gave me a chance to win prizes and money. I again loved the workout but got caught up again in my personal life.

2 years later I made that decision because if I didn't do it now it would never happen for me. I kept telling myself I was getting too old for this but after talking and seeing the people in my age group achieving their goals with the workouts by Beachbody I knew that I could do it too. I decided to purchase Shaun T's Insanity program after seeing the results my niece had with it. She looked wonderful. I did take into consideration that she is 20 years younger than me but I told myself that I would work at it the best I could and go from there. It wasn't that I never had worked out before. I was very dedicated  back in the '90's for quite a few years and even won a bench press competition in my weight class in '96.

Well it has been 5 weeks now into the Insanity program and I have seen great results already. I just finished Recovery Week yesterday and now ready to start Phase 2 tomorrow. I am very proud of my results and even going on a weeks vacation to the beach did not stop my momentum. The DVD's were packed right along with everything else that was a necessity for the trip, and it was a must, to do the workout as scheduled.  I feel that once you make the decision to want this for yourself and start to see results is the key to staying on track.

In the process of getting back on track I have found the benefits of also becoming a Beachbody Coach.
